The guide and service dog Act, only supports the acredited schools. What that means is those training thier own service dogs, maybe denied access and have to jump through the hoops to have the right to public Access. The Canadian Charter says,  Section 2 Equality; All dogs from the acredttied schools, and those training thier own service dogs must have equal rights! However at the Moment the way it is with the Guide and service dog Act,
If your not from those schools
You dont same rights! I asked the Safety and Solicitor Generals office why? That's who issues the guide dog certificate. A worker at the office explained, for example  Pads Society works very hard training thier dogs, according to the high standards of the Province and the trainers are certified. I find out Pads Society, volunteers do the training who aren't certified trainers. They are certified because their with the accredited schools, not as trainers! Pads society and my self,   we both are doing the same training, with our service dogs! We must both meet the same requirements and Pass the Same public Access test.
How ever because my dog is not from the acredttied schools I maybe denied access? TalkTto the paw! I  registered my puppy princess, to get the guide dog certificate, it doesn't mean anything until you pass the public Access test! I appealed that to the Minister Mike Farnsworth, he is in charge of the Guide and service dog Act! I should not be denied service and get the in training guide dog certificate! My case I s being moved forward to the Legislative Assembly in Victoria British Columbia!
Equal paws Minister Mike Farnsworth! Please Support Lisa Arlin and my service dog intraining princess!
